Handmade earrings with Murano glass pearls.
The beads are made with the glass blowing technique by the true Murano Glass Masters.
This vortex of colors is the very famous and elegant glass processing called filigree (a reticello) with canes. It is the most difficult hot glass processing technique to achieve. To create a pearl, 4 different glass rods are used.
By blowing you obtain very light glass pearls and double firing makes them resistant to impacts (! but don't forget that they are made of glass!).
The earrings are very light.
The total length is:
4.5cm - "Onion" shape
5.5cm - "Squashed Round" shape
5cm - "Round" shape
6.5cm - "Olive" shape
6.5cm - "Crushed Olive" shape
7cm - "Drop" shape
The components used in the making of these earrings are stainless steel and 925 silver plated.
The color may be slightly different from what you see in the photo.
